My Story
My journey into pet sitting began during my tenure as a veterinary assistant at a bustling animal hospital, where I spent over 4 years immersed in the world of animal care. During this time, I gained invaluable experience in medical conditions, administering medications, and handling various temperaments—all skills that I now bring to The Sit and Stay.
One of the driving forces behind starting this business was my desire to offer pets a calm and familiar environment where they can thrive while their owners are away. I recognized the need for a personalized alternative to ensure pets receive individual attention and care tailored to their specific needs.
In addition to my professional experience, I am a proud dog owner myself. My American Bulldog and Golden Retriever, both 7 years old, have been cherished members of my family since they were puppies. They have taught me the importance of patience, understanding, and unconditional love—all qualities that I bring to every pet sitting session.
